The League is now FULL for registration for our upcoming 2026-2027 season. The 2026-2027 Season will start in September. You can still complete a registration form to get on the waitlist to be added to a team once space becomes available.

Covid-19 Protocols will remain in place and all players must: be fully vaccinated (currently defined as 3 shots); use hand sanitizer when entering and leaving the arena; and keep gloves on for end-of-game fist bumps.

If you are not feeling well, please stay home and let your Team Rep know that you cannot make the game (preferably before noon on game day).

The Women’s Hockey Club of Toronto (WHCT) is a recreational, non-slapshot women’s ice hockey league for people age 18 and over who identify as female, trans, nonbinary or two-spirited and who are LGBTQ2S or allies who can uphold an inclusive environment. All players are welcome regardless of skill level — beginners just learning to play hockey, mid-range players and experienced players. We have 10-12 teams each season. Each team is comprised of a mix of players from all levels with every attempt made to balance the teams.

When & Where We Play

The 2026-2027 season will start in the third week of September  and run until the second last week of April. Each team will play regular season games plus playoffs. Games are played on Saturday nights with the first game starting at 5:00 p.m. and the last game starting at 10:00 p.m. Each game is 50 minutes in length. All games are played at Moss Park Arena, located at the corner of Queen St. East and Sherbourne St. in downtown Toronto.

Please note: To qualify for the playoffs you must miss no more than 9 regular season games. It is your responsibility to sign the game sheet to ensure that your attendance at each game is counted and report any absences related to injury or illess to their team reps prior to the game.

If you experience any symptoms of Covid/Flu/respiratory illness, please do not attend games. As long as you notify your Team Rep and/or teammates and you are marked sick on the game sheet, you will not be considered absent and it will not count toward the 9 games mentioned above.
